Hello! My easter egger is about 4 months old now and I assumed she's an easter egger given I bought her from a breeder. My friend who owns a few Easter eggers came over and said she thinks my Sprinkles may not be an easter egger at all given the lack of beard and dark/ stout legs. I've included photos from when I first got her until now. Personality wise: she's really flighty and hates being touched/ picked up. Gets along really well with the rest of the flock though just doesn't like people. Can anyone confirm her breed?

I've owned several beardless EE's, some colored very similarly to your bird. This girl looks more like a Brown Leghorn to me, however.

Easter eggers usually have green legs, though I've had plenty without muffs/beards that laid blue/green/olive/,...all had green legs.
Your little girl looks a lot like a cross I had with Easter egger and Wellsumer hoping for more olive eggs, they didn't, just brown, and didn't have green legs either. Brown leghorns look also much like your girl, could be a cross of either. IDK? :idunno

Not an ee. Looks like a game mix to me. No pea comb, no muffs or beard, yellow legs, never seen that patterning on an ee.

And based on the tail and hackle feathers, possibly a dude, unlikely tho.

It's definitely a pullet and probably not an Easter egger. Looks like a Welsummer or brown Leghorn to me. I'm undecided if the earlobes are truly white or if the skin there is just pale because she's young. If those earlobes are really white, then brown Leghorn for sure.

Yellow legs & single comb. I agree that it looks more like a Welsummer. I have a beardless EE, but she has green legs and a pea comb.
