Beat up rooster *photos attached are graphic*

Hey y’all, my son in law is brought me this rooster from his flock. He had 6 roosters in one pen not knowing they would fight. This one roo was so beat up, the feathers are gone on his head and they pecked a pure hole all the way to the bone on his head. I have put peroxide on it and another medication. He’s acting fine, eating fine. My question is how long before I can turn him out with my chickens? I don’t want reinjuries or infection. I’ve never had to tend to one like this.

Keep him in the cage for a little while until the chickens get used to him. After a couple weeks let him out of the cage and with the chickens if they still pick on him keep him in the cage. This is what I would do
