I have a beautiful black silkie cockerel 18 weeks of age. Free of any pests, hand-fed, tame, and fully feathered. He came to me from a private breeder who is NPIP. He has teal and purple all through his tail, and wings. I live in town and was trying to keep him for showing in the fall, but my neighbors are complaining of his crowing in the mornings. He has five-toes, perfect spacing, large wattle and comb, and his tail is magnificent! He has also been very gentle while breeding my hens, and is very protective of my little chicks!
