Finally started getting eggs from my EE's and was never able to get a picture of the "true" color. Took this outside this afternoon in the bright sun and got a great picture of the "true" color! Who else has color like this? Is this the normal color for EE's?

EE's (Easter Eggers) are named so because they can lay brown, pinkish, green, olive, and blue eggs

Our first EE egg! It's a beautiful green-blue color too.

    That is a lovely egg!
I have two brown layers and four EEs and only one of which has much of any blue color...

Beautiful! Now that's blue! My EEs give me pale green, olive green, and one pale blue. My BR, DEL, and JG give me lite brown and a darker brown, a rainbow of eggs. What fun![IMG][IMG]
