This rooster is very special to me. He was scalped by hens when he was 2 months old. After 2-3 months in isolation and healing he is back up to speed. He has scars on the back of the head and comb. He is very people friendly but may need a little help being introduced to the flock since he lacks some social skills after so much isolation time. He currently lives in my garden area since the hens who scalped him have and my main rooster still have issues with him. He has developed into a gorgeous rooster and I would love to see him have a small flock of his own to protect and care for. He is 1/2 Black Jersey Giant and 1/2 Black Sexlink. He is 9-10 months old. His sister lays nice dark brown eggs and is almost pure black(some dark mahogany that looks black). I will only sell him to someone who can pick him up here in Seattle and is going to keep him as a part of the flock.
