Beautiful Silkie Hen Needs a New Home (Dallas,TX)

This is Gonzo, a 9 month old Silkie Hen who needs a new home. Recently my mother and I tested raising a chicken urbanely and it didn't quite work out as planned. She was a gift to us, so we do not have a flock for her to socialize with. Now we are looking for a nice home for her in the Dallas area with preferably a flock and a home that doesn't raise chickens for consumption. She is currently in the broody state, but she is a sweet hen. Please contact me through PM for further information if you are interested.

I wish I could help you, but am only about 1500 miles too far.. I would definitely take her off your hands. Most peeps welcome hens as well .. My suggestion, is for you to post in the Texas thread. There you have local peeps visiting and reading the posts.
