Bedding

Does anyone have experience in using soft wood pellets for bedding? Small flock of four. My only concern is that they might eat it---pellets are somewhat similar to feed.

what kind of wood are the pellets made out of?

Pellets are Canadian pine or spruce. We use them as absorbents in horse stall in limited amounts. We're now using pine chips which become pretty dusty. Should also mention that I should not have really used "bedding", but rather the floor litter.
