    Zone 7B
Hi! My name is MaRanda and I've been using this site as a refernece for the past 5 years. Until now, I felt unqualified to contribute any findings or knowledge.
I live in zone 7B in the U.S. My flock consists of chickens that other people no longer wanted and through the power of social media, people started giving me chickens for various reasons (didn't have time, moving away, fancy wore off, foxes were eating them, omg I found this chicken and what do I do, etc). My flock began as 3 and now boasts 17. I live in a house in an urban area, so the chickens are fun for folks to see. My current flock has: 3 white leghorns, 1 barred rock w/ a clipped beak, 1 black sex-link, 1 silver duckwing Olde English game hen, 1 Silver Wyndotte rooster, 1 Columbian Wyndotte rooster (or a Delaware), 1 white Auracana, 1 Cinnamon Queen, 1 Wellsummer, 1 NHR/ Delaware cross, 2 Red Stars, 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 bantam buff Cochin and 1 bantum blue frizzle Cochin. We are quite a sight!!! Thank you all for being the best thing on the web! You've helped me immensely.

You really have a rainbow flock - I'd love to see a photo of the blue frizzle cochin. I am fascinated with frizzles and love blue chickens
