    Hello All,

Yes, it is me again. Yet another question regarding raising my now 9-day-old gosling. As the subject line states, I have been mixing cooked quinoa into the goose-feed, per my boyfriend's suggestion. Luz (the goose) seems to enjoy this just fine, and also has opportunity to graze on grass / greens for some time each day.

HOWEVER… I was just reading the forum and came across something called "Angel Wing" which, if I am understanding correctly, can be caused by too much protein in the diet…. ??? Quinoa is high in protein, so perhaps this is not advised to feed?

As noted in my previous threads, I live in Panama. Access to actual "gosling feed" is non-existent. I am already giving Luz what they sold me in the store to give him, and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for baby-specific food. So, any suggestion for specialized products does not apply to our situation.

    So, Quinoa: Yay or Nay?

    Gracias!!!
    Joy & Luz
