before i feed it to my chickens!

    hello.
    just wondering i bought a large bag of kaytee brand of kritter food. its says its good for squirles, ducks, turkeys and geese.
    can i give this to my hens?

    It can't be any harder then cracked corn or pellets.Remember all birds need grit(oyster shells)to help break down their food.
