There's a whole bunch. Do you aim for smaller chickens, or larger? Do you want birds that you can slaughter and eat when they're spent?

Welcome to BYC. If you are looking just for eggs, leghorns or sex links are excellent producers.

My white leghorns give me an egg a day, everyday, hot or cold when other layers slack off some in fall and winter.
    Welcome and enjoy BYC !
