I have been going back and fourth between what my duck is. He was a rescue. We found him on a golf course, unable to fly as he is missing part of his wing. We scooped him up before winter because we knew he'd be a "sitting duck" for coyotes. (This was about 4 yes ago... anyone on breed?? Thanks! [IMG]

He looks like a black east indies, which are similar to cayugas, but are much smaller. And from that picture he looks to small to be a cayuga.

His bill is to long to be a call.

If your not picky? He won't care....A Mallard hen would be good or any other breed you like...He will like them all...;)......

Not picky at all! Good to know....mallards/Roens are easier to find. Would love to find any duck that needs a home. I just want him to be happy
