Hello,
I have a 4 month old Mille Fleur D'Uccle Rooster for sale to good home. I originally bought him as a 4H project so he is tame and used to being handled. He is the friendliest of the bunch and would make a great kids pet! He also gets along with other chickens, kids and dogs. He is one of the lower chickens in the pecking order and doesn't pick on other chickens. He has begun crowing and the neighbors are unhappy. He currently lives in a 10ft x 20ft run with a chicken house attached, and on sunny days he has the run of the yard (1/2 acre). I hand raised him as a day old chick from the Monroe Farm & Feed (NPIP certified) and he is a healthy chicken.
D'UCCLE BREED CHARACTERISTICS-
- 1-2 lbs when fully matured
- They are one of the more tame species of bantams, and on the quiet side
- Known for their mysterious, quirky expressions, and are quite friendly
- Their mature coloring takes time to manifest and does not usually appear until after the first adult molt
