Okay, here is what I have. Are any of them particularly known for broodiness? Should I hedge my bets and see if I can find a silkie hen?

3 EE
1 Egyptian Fayoumi
1 Speckled Sussex
1 SLW
1 BO
2 Turken
1 Russian Orloff
1 Australorp
1 Barred Rock
1 Blue Andalusian
1 Golden Sex-Link
2 Barnyard rescues (I think they are probably mutts)
1 Sagitta
1 Welsummer

The Orpington, Australorp, Andalusian, Fayoumi, Sussex, EE - probably in that order. I'm not familiar with Sagitta.
A couple Cochins may be a better bet than a Silkie since they can't cover very many eggs, especially large eggs.

I have had orpingtons and GLW go broody and take good care of the chicks. I have a mix of those two on the nest right now. Last year my naked neck went broody but we didn't give her any eggs.

Wow that's a lot of birds.
Personally, I'd add a couple silkies.
They're small so they don't take up a lot of room, they are excellent brooders, great personality, and how much fun is it to see a little fur ball running around the yard!!!

By the way, I have a silkie roo and he is "broody". Doesn't sit on the eggs because I don't leave them in there, but he raises all the chicks. Even stopped sleeping on his roost to sleep in the nesting box with chicks under his wing. Cutest thing ever :)
