We are considering getting chickens (we live in a family neighborhood and it seems everyone is getting them. We only plan on getting 2-3 and are just wondering what are the best breeds for pretty hot summers (close to 100 degrees in the summer) and pretty cold winters (10 degrees at night). I see cold hardy and heat hardy breeds on mypetchicken.com but what breeds are good for both? Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Where you live is not at all cold to a chicken. If you want them as comfortable as possible, go for heat tolerant breeds and build them an airy shaded pen.
