Best buff/lavender cross?

I have three lav araucanas and buff orps due to hatch soon. Planning on cross breeding for pretty colours, but am I better to go female buff x lavender or vice-versa? If I fdon't have a lav roo, I can get one locally, so making sure I have one won't be an issue. And I know the buff orps will lay cream coloured eggs, but the cross will lay what colour? I love the baby blue eggs from lav araucanas!

The lavender is recessive so the f1 will not show any lavender but will carry it. I would imagine that they will be buff's with lots of black. The f2 will get you some lavender chicks when mated among themselves or back to the lavender araucana.
