Best coturnix breed for eggs

hello, just wondering what coturnix quail lay the most eggs out of these breeds?????? thanks!

Those are the different "colors" of the breed.

I don't think color matters much at all when it comes to laying. One thing I'm not too sure about is the A&M type...they might be breed for laying better.
@007Sean Can you teach us please?

When I was raising Coturnix I had several colors. I didn't really notice that one color layed better than another. If I had to, I'd say the Wild Type/Brown or maybe the Tibetans layed the best.

Hardware cloth is good. Just be sure to attach it well.

Last week, I had to cull six birds because a raccoon got under the pen and pulled off their toes through 1/2-inch hardware cloth (the smallest you'll want to go to let droppings through). So, it works perfectly for the sides but you'll want to block off access to the underside wire unless the pen is well off the ground or there are poop trays underneath.

No, racoons will go right through screen with no problem. Best is 1/2" hardware cloth. Double layer is even better. 1/4" hardware cloth for their flooring works good, most of the poo will still fall through. And its easier on their feet than 1/2".
