every cloud has a silver lining, you're mine
every song has a melody, you're mine
everyone has a best friend, you're mine
every left hand has a right, you're mine
every inhale has an exhale, you're mine
everyone has a heart, you're mine
everyone has a soul, you're mine
when I cry, you will be my tears
when I laugh, you are my smile
when I fall, you pick me up and dust me off
we will be best friends forever, through it all
to pick each other up when one of us falls
we are there for each other no matter what
no matter what, best friends forever, because
you are my everything, for now, and forever!

I like that. I would see how it sounds in the song though, and then decide what you like better. I think "you've got the key to mine" is more lyrical though.
