I am new to the Chicken world and I love giving my girls treats as they get
very excited they will even chase me around the yard to get some!

I give them dandelions and broccoli, but I was wonder what is the best, safest,
and most nutritious green I can give them?

    Hello and [IMG]
    We're glad you joined us!

The best greens you can give them is herbs. Parsley, fennel and dill are some. Parsley has lots of excellent vitamins and nutrition for them, dill is a respiratory immune booster and fennel is a laying stimulant. Chickens also love these, so it's a healthy snack that they love! [IMG] I give these to my girls and I have noticed huge changes, plus they love this stuff too! Let me get an article for you real quick, i'm sure you would love it and find it helpful. [IMG]

Feeding them treats of green leafy vegetables like kale, alfalfa, cabbage, broccoli, and spinach will result in a darker orange yolk color...
