Best Laying Breed for Humid Summers?

    What do you believe would be the best breed of layer hens for the hot (90 + Degrees F) & humid summers here in the south? [​IMG] In other words.....who lays the most?!

    All suggestions welcome! I am just trying to plan for the upcomng spring. [​IMG] (Early bird gets the worm & all that.)

    We live in North Central Florida so we know about the hot and humid. We have excellent results from our Black Sex Links and our Leghorns. They drop 5 eggs a week per bird straight through the summer. Our New Hampshires and Barred Rocks average 4 eggs a week per bird. Just make sure that they have clean fresh water all day. We change their water 2 to 3 times a day during the summer.
