I just purchased 20 baby chicks and didnt noticed one was severly deformed with sissor beak and an eye deformation. Like the post says i am looking for the best most human way to put this chick out of its misery, its only 2 days old.

Sorry about your chick, and it is always difficult to have to do. I have used a small airtight container with a lid (such as a coffee can) and added equal parts of baking soda and vinegar and placed the chick inside. The chick dies within a minute or two of carbon dioxide poisoning. Some use automobile starter fluid, which is ether, in a rag or a container, to euthanize chicks. Other quick methods are cervical dislocation, and scissors to snip off the head. Here are some links to read:

I have done the vinegar baking soda method, but used left over containers. A bigger one, but not too big as you are trapping a gas to do the job, with a good lid and a smaller one with no lid for the chick. I sort of made a little nest for the chick and set it inside the bigger container. This way the chic stays dry and looks comfortable, just going to sleep. Sorry about your chick, hope all goes well.
