I had a boody banty hen that I let sit on 3 eggs. Only 1 hatched. She was up in the top level of the laying boxes (5'), so I moved her and jr. into a smaller cage in the coop in a separart area. (so he would not fall out) He is about a month old now and I'm wondering the best way and time to integrate them back into the flock.

a. My flock is made up of banty hens and a few roos along with full size hens.
b. She is a very protective momma.

Any thoughts and ideas appreciated.

I have three broody bantams right now! Two of them have been broody before, and here is what I do. I put them in a pen for around the first 3-4 weeks of life, in sight and sound of the others. I then just open up the cage when they seem bored one day and it usually works out great. The only times it didn't involved an aggressive mother who attacks the chicks of other broodies.
Make sure they think of the chick as part of the flock before the intro.

Best of luck!
