Hi my name is Sarah. Obviously I'm new to BYC.Let me tell you some about myself.I live in the great country of Texas. My disabled parents 5 year son and I are on a journey to homesteading and living a simple enjoyable life. Some of the first steps on this journey are growing our food and raising rabbits and chickens. The reasons for raising these animals my be obvious to some I'll state them anyways. Chickens will be for meat, eggs, compost and extra income by selling yard eggs. The rabbits are for meat primarily and second for crafting pelts.I look forward to sharing my families experiences with y'all. Thanks for reading.

Hi and welcome. We are starting our homesteading journey, too! We have chickens, beehives, and a garden. Next spring its rabbits and maybe a pig. Wish you lots of luck!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Which area of Texas are you from? My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Do you have any breed preference?
