I never really understood about Biddies before.

I went out to the run last night, and only Clarisse, my mostly-Sumatra ran to greet me. The other two girls were on the highest perch, looking over the fence and cackling to each other. Huh?

It seems that my neighbor behind me was out back with his little dog, talking animatedly on his cel phone. And the Girls were taking in every moment of it, with intense fascination, and apparently discussing it between them. Hmm, I watch "chicken TV," but apparently, chickens watch "people TV" too! But they were exactly like a couple of nosy, gossippy neighbors, spying on the guy over the fence! And they totally ignored me, in favor of checking out this interesting new sight.

After her usual social interaction, even Clarisse climbed up and peered over the fence with them. Yep, just the biddies, spying on the neighbors! [IMG]

That's just hilarious! I guess now we know where the phrase "nosy old biddy" comes from... LOL! Thanks for that funny image and the LOL! I needed that. [IMG]
