My cochins seem to love the cold! Hens are 11-15 months old. My roo is almost 2 years old. I have had 98% fertility here at home! My Black roo is the biggest gentle giant, we all just love the cochins here, they are our "fluffy puffy birds".

9 BBS cochin hens in this pen with him. I do have one hen that I need to rehome who is not solid black - she is showing some gold feathers in her neck. She will be rehomed as soon as I can transport her:) Just want to be honest that you could get the slightest off standard color out of that one hen.

Please remember it has been a snowy winter here in New England - if the girls look a little care warn it is due to being "cooped up".

Buying shipped eggs is a risk. I can not be responsible for the Post Office handling or the large amount of variables in each of our hatching methods.

I will wrap each egg individualy and do everything in my power to see that eggs get to you in the very best possible condition. I will ship with a confirmation number as well.
I just sent a box of eggs clear across the country to Washington (24 eggs) they made it in 2 days and had no damamge!

Payment by paypal as soon as auction ends and I will send eggs out the very next day!

Thank you for looking. Please feel free to ask any questions!

I was the one who received the last shipment of 20 BBS Cochin eggs from April (Aces). I set them into the incubator and last night was day 8. I candled them, and I was so impressed to find that 17 out of 20 eggs showed development. I mean, this is remarkable for eggs that got shipped all the way from NH (edited) to Washington state, across the country. The eggs were packed perfectly, and all were perfect.

I was so impressed, I ordered another batch of eggs from Aces, and she always sends extras. She sent 2 extra Barne eggs, 3 extra BBS Cochin eggs and many more other eggs, which were totally of her own free will and generosity. She didn't need to do this, but she did. Again, flawless packing and the new eggs are in the incubator.

April is a really nice lady to do business with, and I can't wait to see how pretty the chickies are going to be. I won't hesitate to order again from her. She is prompt, professional, kind, generous and friendly. I really like her as a person too. You can tell when a breeder cares for her birds by the way they are described, and how she takes pride in them. And you look at the photos of their surroundings and the birds themselves, and you know she takes good care of them, and raises them well. That's really important for me. I like supporting a breeder who cares and loves her breeding birds and raises them well.

Hi April,

Yes, you're very welcome. I've edited the location. Sorry. You may choose to use the review in future if you like. Use the one that's been edited for location.

I am very particular about who I support and give good feedback only when I think the breeder deserves it, and I'm not one who lightly says things either. I am also particular about the surroundings of the birds and how they are raised. There are tonnes of chicken breeders out there, but not everyone raises their birds well, and if I can do my part, and choose who I support, I think then why not? Give credit when credit is due. You've come across as a really genuine caring person, and I like that, so I was not holding back. LOL.
