big comb, lil' roo? (see pic)

    OK, I know the deal. We don't really know the sex until 5-6 months of age. This cochin is 5-6 weeks old and look at this comb! I got "him" at 1-2wks old, and he came in the first day with 3 other chicks already pecking and establishing dominance.

    Any opinions? Can hens this young have combs so big?

    I've never had a Cochin - but a comb that big at that age = cockerel to me.
