How big is big enough for 2 Nigerian doelings? I came across 2 twin doelings who were absolutely beautiful, solid black with blue eyes. The problem is, I live in an average suburban lot, maybe a bit bigger, its about half an acre. The only area we could dedicate to these animals is about 35' x 20', more or less. That calculates about 700 sq ft total, or 350 per goat. Will that be enough space? I realize that we may have a dirt lot in a few months. Thanks for input :)

That's enough space. You'll just have to feed hay year-round, that's all

One thing you could do when they're a bit older if you want to keep them supplied with grass, is something that I do for my chickens. I built a frame with chicken wire (You'd have to use something stronger for the goats, though) and placed it in one of the pens that has been stripped and seeded it.
You can move it around and continue to seed or leave it there, which only allows the animals to eat what comes through the mesh. Works great!

Wow, thanks for the fast response. Glad to hear that they'll be ok in my pasture. I don't mind having to feed them year round, I was just worried that wouldn't be enough room to roam around in. Thanks again!
