Big hello from Ohio

What a wonderful forum you all have created here. I have been lurking and gaining information and we are purchasing new RIR chicks on April 9th. Thank you all for the wonderful pictures of your coops and brooders. We are building our brooder now based on some of the information we found here on the forum. I love to garden and although we live in a small town, I am trying to turn our backyard into a small farm. For those on the forum whom are Brits I am trying to design and build a chicken coop that reflects one of my favorite programs Midsommer Murders. A wonderful mystery series filmed in the lovely villages in England

I want that tudor look with the thatched roof but fully functional chicken coop! Thank God I have a wonderful husband who is handy with tools and very patient. Looking forward to sharing pictures and what life is like with chickens in an urban environment.
