Wow! That is one big egg. What breed of hens do you have? And do you know which hen laid that? How old is she? Inquiring minds want to know!
I have 2 rir laying not sure which one laid it. I have 3 mix brahams that are now 21 weeks old.
Hooray for you! I have egg envy.
This was my FIRST double
It seems that whenever the egg is notably larger there is a greater chance og it being a multiple yolk.
it was yummy for supper !!!!!!!
Well two of my RIR girls laid their first eggs this week! I was sooo excited and even though small, I thought that perhaps as they mature a little more the eggs will increase in size. Now, looking at your eggs, I wondering why their eggs are so small?
Wow, that is one large egg!!! It is funny - first we are happy just to get an egg...then we want them to get past the pullet size egg...my chicks complain that I am hard to please (My dh says the same thing)......
