what is the biggest breed of chicken?
    what is the smallest?
and can anyone post pics of these breeds that feature a human being so that i can actually see the size relation?
i had a dream a few nights ago of a chicken the size of a large dog - it was really neat (yeah, i know they don't get that big . . . i'm just sayin'.)
also, i met some moderns and seramas at Sn'M poultry last week and kinda fell in love with those tiny little chickens. they are sooooooooo cute.
anywhoo - please post your "biggest" and "smallest" breed photos!

I don't have any photos to show size in relation but here is a shot of Frank (OEGB on Left) and Murray (BO on right). Frank is the man around here and routinely shows Murray who is boss. Murray has had his butt chased so many times by Frank he does care that Frank is a midget by comparison.

Quote:Don't tell him he is little. He thinks he is the biggest thing in the yard. He probably comes up to Speckledhen's Roos thigh. Can't be more than 8 inches tall.

    great pics everyone!
    thank you.

    hi SnM!
the hens are going just great. i was out there a little while ago feeding them some meal worms. the little tiny one was in my lap chowing down and snuggling close!
too cute is what they are.
they seem very happy so far - and i just love them!
i will take some pics tomorrow or the next day and post them.
thank you again for selling them to me. they are awesome!
