hello. we have a booted bantam named sasha thats in a bit of trouble. today we found her shaking, standing on one foot, not moving. she is eating and drinking and pooping like normal. she is very very skinny as well. she is the family bird and my brothers pet. it would be devastating to see her go.
thank you for any help you have.

Is there any possibility she has parasites? The fact that she is eating and drinking normally and getting skinny has me suspicious. You could check her for lice/mites by parting her feathers and look for bugs or eggs at rhe feather shaft. Also, has she been wormed? I've read that there is only one type of worm that can be seen with the naked eye . I.am no expert but if you post pics maybe someone with more experience can help. I'd hate for you not to get some answers.

Also, is she displaying any other symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, wheezing, runny or crusty eyes, etc.? If you do post a pic of her you may want to post a pic of her poop too. I know it's gross but it can be helpful. Good luck!
