Bird Watching - the wild kind

Anyone else enjoy watching wild birds?

I love watching all the birds that visit our farmette. We have several feeders, lots of birds houses and are surrounded by woods and streams, so we get a great variety.

I recently discovered the app Merlin (not an endorsement) that allows you to record bird sounds and it identifies the birds it hears! It's so cool!

i love bird watching ad lucky us in NZ most of our animals are birds bugs and lizards! (mostly birds ) (the only mammals we have are bats and seals and sea lions and thats it)

i need to check out this app! sounds so cool

I enjoy the wild birds and wouldn't want to have a backyard without them! Seems like they make it a friendlier place. In an unrelated thread, I saw where you just moved from MI to KY...out of interest, are there any birds in KY that you also saw in MI?
