"Birds of a feather flock together?" Are Australorps 'flighty?'

    Ok, either one of those are appropriate titles! I have 4 BOs, 2 EE hens, 2 EE rooster, 2 Light Brahmas and 3 BAs. My BAs are ALWAYS together when they are out free ranging. 3 of the BOs seem to be always together. So, do you find that your chickens of the same breed stick together?

    AND man! These Australorps are always escaping the pen. Every morning they seem to have a 'stroll' on the top of it and now are starting to fly out vs going back in. You can see the trio here on our needing to be painted fence! Do they tend to be flighty?

    I dont think I would call them flighty exactly. But they are not quite as laid back as BO and Brahma.

    I have noticed that similar breeds do flock together, too.
