The other day I found one of my hens trapped in one of my buildings. To my best guess she was in there for a couple of days. Upon finding her it looked like she had been in a fight and had bled from her back left side. She walked off with her rooster back to the coop. I didn't think anything more of it. Until today my son told me that she wasn't moving too well and that she has been in the same spot for a good while. I brought her up to the house and I found that she has a very large bite. It looks as if the skin is missing on a 3-4 inch area. A couple of flaps and a bad cut on her knee. I gave her a bath and poured peroxide on her. After drying I coated the areas in triple antibiotic ointment. I have her separated. Anything else I should do?
