Black and White Partridge Silkie?

Hi there,

I’m new to silkies, and just hatched out a few of them today. The eggs were sold to me as bearded ‘show silkies’ in a variety of colors. One of them that hatched today is a color I’m unfamiliar with, and I’m hoping you all can help. It’s white with black markings, and has what looks like partridge stripes on the back. Is it a splash, paint, or some kind of partridge?

Oh goodness what a little cutie!

I agree with @Fluffy Lambs this one does look like it may be a silver partridge to me as well. In silkies they are usually called gray (there are slight differences in gray and silver partridge but since silver partridge isn't a recognized color and gray is they get lumped in with gray). I personally love the color, it looks similar to a regular partridge but with silver in the places where they have gold.
