black Andalusion or black Minorca hen

How can I tell the difference?

I would say minorca just because I have an andalian hen and she doesn't look at all like your girl. My Beatrix keeps her tail up like a game hen, I guess cause it's in her bloodline, lol, and has obvious patterns in her feathers and a HUMONGOUS comb/wattles...here's her pic:

I don't know tho...on second look at your lower pic, hmmm...guess I'm not much help lol

She prefers the "side swept" look evidently lol

After looking at pics of minorcas online, older mountain, I do believe that is what you have there. But their combs do get HUGE like my girls'...call it their "crown" : )
