Thanks everyone for chiming in. I can definitely see some difference between the feather shape on mine vs oldhenlikesdogs’s cockeral. For now I’ll assume hen until a crow proves me wrong.

I've got two black australorps and they are the same age as yours. One of mine has a slightly larger comb and I posted them on the australorp thread. They said both are hens.
Also, I did an image search and the cockerels at this age very much look like the post above and very much look like cockerels. I'm actually suprised considering how slow australorpd grow that their features are so prominent at such a young age, but it's a least a relief especially if you can't have a roo.
