Black/Blue Orpington sexing

Would someone out there please post some good pics of 4-5 month old Orpington roos and pullets? My birds seem to change daily and I really want to know who is who and what is what. Thanks I'll be watching

Can you post some pics of your birds? That would be the best way to get some guesses as to their gender.

Last year I had two I thought for sure were roos until they started laying... I will get some of mine that are 5 months old. I know my roo for sure because of his feathers. I will go get some when they come in from the vineyard.

I needed an excuse to take pics of these two. They are Black Orpington bantams, about 4 months old. This is the pullet (on the roost, or course):

And this is the rooster:

I got a kick out of them posing for the photos. The hen stepped up on the roost, and then just as soon as I was done taking her pic, she stepped down and the rooster stepped up!
