I was curious what colour this chick would be? Father is a black jersey giant, mother is either a barred rock or a blue azure (white). Was curious about the brown on the face. Also, any idea on gender?

I'm not seeing any photo.. But, according to your description, the barred Rock is NOT the mother.. as it would be a black sex linked cross with chick being identifiable at hatch.. males having a white spot on the head and females have no head spot.

White on the other hand can hide other colors underneath. So that would be your suspect dame if those are your only options.
