[IMG] bought a few black chickens at Atwoods and not sure what breed they are.. They have long legs, are light weight, have green and purple coloring in the sunlight, and look gamey.. Can someone help me identify the breed?

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. Your chickens appear to be Black Pit Game Chickens. Good luck with your flock.

They could be Black Shamos. Black Shamos and Black Pits look an awful lot alike. Shamos usually have yellow legs, but not always and with hatchery birds, who knows?
