Black dorkings for sale due to move!
These great black dorkings are only up for sale due to an upcoming move. I have to reduce or eliminate my flock.
These black dorkings were carefully selected from many chicks out of Sand Hill's black dorking stock to be the hardiest (healthy, haven't been hit terribly hard by the cold at all) and overall have the closest in conformity to the SOP. They lay large, chalk white eggs.
This is where the trio would fall short:
Coloring: Blacks are not a standard color, but have a beautiful black feather with beetle green sheen.
The rooster is very good overall- after the last molt his neck and cape feathers became tipped with a whitish tinge (where they were not before.)
2 hens, good shape - One has a similar feather pattern as the rooster. The other is all black with an excellent sheen. It has a white earlobe, however.
These slight issues can be corrected with breeding.
