Black Giants

I bought chicks 5 days ago, 5 black giants, 5 sex links and 3 easter eggers. Not what I had planned to buy - that was all that was available. Then I got home and began to research them. Learned how big these black giants can get and not sure I want to keep them. What advice can you give me on black giants?

I have a black jersey giant in my flock and I'm working on getting two more chicks this year. They're calm, mellow birds in my experience, and they lay huge eggs. They take up to two years to reach their full size, so if you decide it's too much, you have time to rehome or process them. I for one have been rather pleased with my "Gertrude", which is why I'm trying to get more.
