These were hatched on April 15. When they were fighting for roost position in coop tonight, I heard a deep voice. I have not been able to find much on breed or pics of pullets and cockerels.

I have hens who sound like a goose - and hens who rarely ever make a noise....and everything in between. Although with cockerals or roosters around, I have never had a hen try to crow!

Although that second photo - might be an emerging cockeral. Pretty red wattles for just 12wks. Pullets don't get that red until just before laying - about 20-24wks...
