I know with sex link isa browns and golden comets the males are white at hatch or so I've read on here. I have a black jersey giant rooster breeding them and the chicks are white or black or black with brown on the face. A few may be white with a black spot or black wing stripe. When I bred a partridge cochin to these hens the darker chicks turned out to be hens and the white chicks were males out of the ones I kept several times. I never had a white hen maybe coincidence I dunno. Would this be the case with the jersey giant also I've never kept any of these chicks because they sell so fast and maybe I should just to see i have 30 in a brooder right now but was wondering if anyone has bred these before or may know if the darker chicks do come out as hens and males white with wing badges.
