Black Minorca? Pullet? Roo?

Meet Stoop! IM thinking she’s a black Minorca. 8 weeks. From mmh ornamental layer. She’s hard to get pics of. I also swear I see some pointy feathers. I also added her baby pics too for help.

Stoop is an Easter Egger. At eight weeks, you have a possible cockerel. Pointy hackle and saddle feathers will not have developed yet. I would post update pics in about another week.

That bird looks bearded? And should have white ear lobes of it were Minorca, I can't see lobes. Also 8 weeks is too young for pointy feathers to develop in any breed that I know of.

I was just thinking that. The legs look a little dark for an Easter Egger.

Sometimes she looks bearded but most of the time she doesn’t. I notice the puffiness after she’s running around or dominating others, she seems the alpha female. She’s definitely not bearded like my other EE and Faverolles if she is. Maybe she’s slow to beard.

I know she’s not going to be breeder quality, but figured hatchery quality.
