I've been noticing my EEs have been pooing nasty, solid-coloured black that smells NASTY for about a week or two. The bedding they have is straw, they've been eating 18% protein layer/breeder/broiler feed from Southern States, they're a year old. It dosen't happen EVERY poo, but there is quite a bit of black poo. They have 24/7 access to water and feed, the egg laying has dropped off just a tiny bit. Any ideas? Pleease and thank you.

They are not eating sunflower seeds (I'm positive [IMG] )

The poo is extremely black, like tar black. Not chocolate-y at all. [IMG]
