    Hey guys,
I have a 3-week Black Sex Link sold as a pullet by a local feed store in Connecticut.
This chick has been feathering out VERY slowly, just recently her/his tail feathers started coming in. Always had a big comb, and now (this week), there are signs of wattle. This chick is very brave. As a BSL pullet, this chick does not have the white/yellow spot on the head. She's all black, with slight reddish to her feathers now. I think this chick is a girl, but I am also concerned about slow feathering and the signs of wattle and large comb.
Can anyone help me identify her gender based on the pics posted. I am new at raising chicks. I've been doing a lot of research on each breed i own, but I want someone else's input regarding the gender based on the pics.
    Thanks!

Black sex link cockerels feather in black/grey and white barred -- pullet chicks feather in black with copper leakage such as this chick has...that's the beauty of "sex links", they are 100% sexable by sight at hatch.
