Black sex link pullet? What does a red sex link pullet look like?

I had a chick hatch today that I thought was solid black until we picked it up from the incubator and moved it to the brooder. We then realized that it has some white on its belly. Can black sex link pullets have some white on their stomachs? Mine looks like the black sex link chick pictures I looked up, but no one said anything about white underneath. Also, I may have a red sex link chick hatch from a silver-laced wyandotte hen with a RIR roo. First of all, what is that chick called? and what would the pullet chick and cockerel chick of this combination look like? I am hatching some RIR chicks, so would I be able to tell the difference between my RIR chicks and a red sexlink chick?

Thanks.

The white on a black sex link that means it's a cockerel is on the top of its head. Solid black or brown head = pullet. Black or brown with white spot on head = cockerel. I know because I just researched it after I noticed one of my 8 that I just picked up from a local feed store has a white spot. Looks like 7 pullets and 1 rooster. Oh well. Dinner in about 4-5 months.

Well I didn't take too many pix of my chicks' bellies, but here is one you can kinda see white on the fuzzy butt (down by the date) She is brown-headed and is a pullet, but her fuzz looks kinda white on the underside plus a random spot on her throat. She is brown and black on her face and wings though, black on her back and rear.

The BSL boys had white faces, some random white on their wings, and they of course grow in white/black barred.

Most of the female black sexlinks have white on the belly. As long as their head is dark, then it's a girl.
Red sexlinks, the females are red/orange, while the males are a whitish-yellow. That cross should make sexlinks... You may be able to tell the RIR from the red sexlinks if they are very dark vs light red, but I'm having trouble telling my New Hamps from the red sexlinks

Oh well we'll be able to tell when they grow up!

do the hen pullets have long tail feathers? I have two supposedly black sex links. Neither have white on their heads. They are getting their red intermingled with the black on their necks and now some on their wings. They do have some white on their underneath. One is larger with long upturned tail feathers and the other one is a little smaller and has a short tail. They will be 5 weeks old tomorrow and this is my first time with chicks.
