Black sex-link rooster?

Are all black sex link roosters barred?? I have one that was sold to me as a black star, and he is almost solid black, just a little red on his shoulders. thanks ...stan

Thanks for the lightening response!! He is a rooster for sure, waking the neighborhood at 5:30, and doing his job with the hens, supposed to be 7 or 8 months old. After reading the sex link sticky, I had my doubts! Thanks for the conformation. .....stan

Black sexlink roosters will not be solid black. They are alwasy barred. Yours in not a black sexlink.
