One of my black sex link it starting to grow a lot faster and have a ligher color pattern. Could it be a rooster?

Black sex link males are barred in pattern while females are black with cooper around the collar/breast -- so *if* this bird were a BSL it would be male -- but it isn't really looking like a BSL in these pictures to me (head markings). Is this a hatchery stock BSL or one that you crossed yourself and, if the latter, what parent breeds did you use? Can you get a full body side shot of the chick standing rather than being held?
